Via support menu, we collect the following information so we can answer your questions or take action

  • The phone number you call with and information you give us during the call.
  • The username you use and the contents of chat with attachments if any.
  • The username you use and the contents of chat with attachments if any.
  • Your social network account with the content of the messages, if you contact us via our social network platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

2.3 Information we get from third parties

We may collect additional Personal Information about you from third parties and other identification, verification services such as your financial Institution, payment processors and verification services. With your consent, we may also collect additional Personal Information in other ways including emails, surveys, and other forms of communication.

Once you begin using our services through your Vuvaa account, we will keep records of your transactions and collect information of your other activities related to our services. We will not share or disclose your Personal Information with a third party without your consent.

In order for us to provide you with our Products and/or Services and to operate in an efficient and effective manner by providing you with the best service possible, we need to collect relevant personal information from you. (Stated in 2.1 above).

To enable us render our services to you on our platforms, we may share your information with trusted third parties, such third parties include financial institutions, payment processors verification services, as well as any third parties that you have directly authorized to receive your Personal Information. Your Personal Information may be stored in locations outside the direct control of Vuvaa, for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers.

Please note that third-parties you buy from or contract with have their own privacy policies, Vuvaa is not responsible for their actions, including their information protection practices.

We protect your Personal Information using physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration, we also use industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TSL) encryption technology to safeguard your Personal Information. Other security safeguards include but are not limited to data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to our building and files and only granting access to Personal Information to only employees who require it to fulfil their job responsibilities.

In order to ease user’s experience on our platforms, we will request your permission to:

Vuvaa is statutorily obligated to retain the data you provide us with, in order to process transactions, ensure settlements, make refunds, identify fraud and to be in compliance with laws and regulatory guidelines applicable to us, our banking providers, payment processors and other third parties.

Therefore, even after closing your Vuvaa account, we will retain certain data to comply with these obligations.

We store and process your personal data only as long as it is necessary to perform our obligations under the agreement with you or as long as the law requires us to store it.

Your Vuvaa account can be shut down upon request, however certain data will be retained as stated in 4.0.

  2. You reserve the right to refuse any unsolicited information or other services we offer you time to time.
