Terms and Conditions

Your usage of Vuvaa (mobile, web) is subject to the following terms and conditions as contained in this document, which together with our privacy policy governs our relationship with you in relation to our Services on Vuvaa.

If you disagree with these provisions, kindly exit the platform.


The terms 'us', 'we' and 'our' refers to Vuvaa and its services. The term 'you' refers to the user.


By using our Services, you agree that you are at least 13 years of age and have not been previously suspended or removed from the Service(s). You also agree that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent identity, age or affiliation with any person or entity.

Modification of Terms and Conditions of Service

Vuvaa may at any time modify the terms and conditions to enhance delivery of service. We reserve the right to amend, discontinue, terminate, limit, disable and/or cancel any service provided by Vuvaa or any part thereof at its sole discretion and without notice, by posting an updated version on our platforms. It becomes effective as soon as it is posted, you will be notified if there are any reviewed changes.

We recommend that you regularly review the Terms as your continued usage of our platforms after any amendment implies that you accept these terms and you are therefore bound by it.


In order to use this service, you must register an account with Vuvaa, where you will be asked to provide certain information such as your name and other personal details. You must truthfully provide accurate and complete information in response to our questions. Please, ensure information provided are up-to-date.

Password Protection

Please understand that your Password is to be used to login and consequently carry out transactions on Vuvaa.

You undertake to be absolutely responsible for safeguarding your Password and keeping it confidential at all times. You shall be responsible for any fraud, loss and/or liability to Vuvaa or third party arising from the usage of your Password by a third party and other unauthorized access. Accordingly, Vuvaa shall not be responsible for any fraud that arises from usage of your Password.

If you enter a wrong password three (3) times consecutively, it will be assumed that it is an unauthorized login attempt and your account will be locked. To reset your account, contact Vuvaa Customer Support either by telephone +234 812 722 8167; +234 704 337 1760, or email [email protected].

In the event that your account is locked, you will provide personal information that will be used to reset a locked account or reset your password if you have forgotten it. Please ensure that the security questions and answers you provide are easy for you to remember but difficult for third parties to guess.

What We Own

Vuvaa platforms contain materials and services including those belonging to our affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents, licensors or other commercial partners but not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics or digital products on the website, software, documentation, audio, video, messages , images and other materials, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, as well as all derivative works thereof (collectively, referred to as the "Materials"), are owned by us or other parties that have licensed their material or provided services to us, and maybe legally privileged.

Unauthorized use of any of our platforms may give rise to a claim for damages. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on our platforms for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

About Us

Vuvaa is a subsidiary of Access Solutions Limited that is responsible for handling, processing, delivering e-payments, payment gateway, and other digital services. Our services allow you to transact with anyone or billers listed on our platform at any time or anywhere.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event shall Vuvaa be liable for any direct, special, punitive, indirect or consequential damages, or any other damages of any kind, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, on any theory of liability, whether arising under tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise, whether or not Vuvaa has been advised or is aware of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the aggregate liability of Vuvaa, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), product liability, strict liability or other theory, arising out of, or relating to the use of, or inability to use any of our platforms or related to these terms, exceed any compensation you pay, if any, to Vuvaa for access to or use of our platforms.


By using our platforms, you will indemnify Vuvaa, its independent contractors, service providers and consultants, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses arising out of, or related to:

(a) any actual or alleged breach by you of these Terms or any other Vuvaa agreement, policy or guideline.

(b) any actual or alleged violation of applicable law, rules, or regulations of any jurisdiction or of any payment card association, network or company

(c) your wrongful or improper use of our platforms

(d) any Submission made by you; or

(e) your violation of the rights of any third party.

Service Charges and Validity

You agree to pay the Service Charges prescribed by Vuvaa in the form and manner prescribed for such payment. At any time Vuvaa may at its discretion, change, amend, increase, or reduce the Service Charges without prior information or consent to the Customer.

Values in your Account or online bank transaction platform that is utilized in making payments for any Transaction shall be automatically debited from you.

Vuvaa reserves the right to levy charges/ charge commission upon any amounts loaded from your Account or any amount(s) spent.

PLEASE NOTE: This charge is on the total amount being deducted and not on the amount being transferred. Vuvaa reserves the right to set off any balance in your Account in order to recover funds for transactions processed as per your request.

Merchant Account

A merchant Account is operated or run by a business, an individual or corporate organization. It is recommended for organizations that primarily sell goods, services or accept donations, even if your business is not incorporated. By opening up a business account, you certify to us that you are using it primarily for a business or commercial purposes and also consent to Vuvaa submitting your personal and business information to a reporting agency whenever we reasonably believe there may be an increased level of risk associated with your business account.

A merchant account must choose a reasonably descriptive username that clearly identifies its Business Name. This name will appear on the payer’s account statement. If a transaction dispute results from your failure to use a reasonably descriptive username, you agree to indemnify Vuvaa for any costs incurred from such dispute.

Identification and Verification

Vuvaa may request additional information from you at any time. We may also require a government issued identification such as an International Passport, National Identification Number, Permanent Voters’ Card/Number, Driver’s License, or a business license such as a Certificate of Incorporation.

Vuvaa may also ask for permission to inspect your business location. If you refuse any of these requests, your account may be terminated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account of any user who provides inaccurate, untrue, misleading, fraudulent or incomplete information required under this Agreement.

Service Delivery Policy

All services on Vuvaa are classified into two (2)

  1. Direct Consumable Service: These are services that are delivered to you after a successful payment is made. These include airtime, bill payments (Energy Vending, Pay TV), etc. With the measures that we have put in place, we do not expect any failure in the delivery of these services. However, in case of prolonged delays in delivery, kindly contact our Customer Care for support and we will investigate the transaction(s) and contact you not more than forty-eight (48) hours.
  2. Extended Services: These are services that are provided by our various merchants on Vuvaa who have been screened and investigated to make sure that they are credible and do not support in any way whatsoever fraudulent activities or dubious businesses. Vuvaa is a payment/service delivery platform and we assume that you are aware of the services you are being offered and asked to pay for. However, we have an agreement with our merchants to ensure that all services they offer are delivered within the time specified to the individual customers. In case of prolonged delays in service delivery, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care.

Refund and Returns

All successful transactions on Vuvaa are non-refundable. However, for failed transactions with successful payments, refunds will be made to your Vuvaa associated Account. You also have the opportunity to transfer the money to your bank account or any account of your choice.


At any point during the transaction before successful completion, you have the liberty to cancel the transaction. However, once you confirm the transaction and you get a success report, the transaction cannot be reversed.

Force Majeure

If the usage of our platforms or any obligation under it is prevented, restricted or interfered with by reason of circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Vuvaa, please understand that we will be excused from performance to the extent of the prevention, restriction, or interference, but Vuvaa shall use its best endeavors to avoid or remove the causes of non-performance and shall continue performance with utmost dispatch whenever such causes are removed or diminished.


The liability for the usage of our platforms shall not be impaired or discharged by reason of any time or grace or other indulgence being granted by a party or any forbearance by a party to insist upon its strict rights hereunder. No right under this contract shall be deemed to have been waived except in writing signed by the parties hereto and waiver of any particular right in a particular instance shall not constitute or be deemed a waiver of any other right.

Law and Jurisdiction

Disputes arising from the usage of Vuvaa will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Account Closure

At any given time, we reserve the rights to close, freeze, or suspend your account on the basis of non-compliance with regulatory requirements, breach of the terms and conditions contained herein, or in the event of any report(s) or investigations that reveal your engagements in any fraudulent or suspicious activities with your Vuvaa Account, and any other incidents not stated.

In addition to the above, you remain liable for any obligations related to your account with us. Upon closure of your account access to Vuvaa services will be denied.

Statutory Obligation

We are required at all times to comply with various provisions of the laws in Nigeria, encompassing the rules, regulations, guidelines, circulars and letters issued by Financial Regulatory Agencies such as Central Bank of Nigeria, from time to time.

Vuvaa shall effect restrictions on the operations of your account and possibly report to the relevant law enforcement agencies in the case of detected fraudulent activities.


By usage of the Vuvaa platforms, you understand and assent to all our terms and conditions, and hereby pledge to abide to them; and not engage our platforms for any fraudulent or illegal activities.
